J Verne was my favorite author when I was a child and I read a similar cartoon like series of all his books back then and it was what hooked me up to reading. Since then I have been a voracious and avid reader. I was not able to find that, so bought most of his book on this series and I must say I have been rather disappointed. The translation and summary is of poor quality, and not necessarily all that appropriate for children. I would search for a better translation. The drawings are not bad. But over all, I can't recommend it.
Excellent, makes you want to read the original.
